Live Activities
We offer many live activities each year featuring
highly regarded specialists in the fields of medicine
and public health. Staff in the Office of Continuing
Professional Development work closely with faculty
directors and planning committees to design courses to
help you rapidly integrate the newest medical knowledge
and advanced treatments into your practice and enhance
professional development. These well respected and well
coordinated CME activities are provided at locations
throughout Wisconsin as well as nationally to meet all
your educational and geographical needs.
There are two types of Live CME activities offered:
- Courses
Courses are live CME activities which are planned on an
individual basis and designated for credit as a single
activity such as a conference, seminar, or annual meeting.
Courses may be either directly sponsored or jointly
sponsored.

as Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, Tumor Boards, or

by and presented to the professional staff of the University
of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. While
a RSS is considerd one activity, sessions within a RSS
