The Office of Continuing Professional Development in Medicine and Public Health (OCPD) respects each site visitor's right to privacy. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information provided, we have in place physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Your information will never be given to anyone outside of the University of Wisconsin except to fulfill the accreditation requirements. OCPD collects only the information necessary to provide you with the services that you ask for.
How we use your information OCPD uses your personal information to provide you with services and to help us better understand your needs and interests. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction or registration, to communicate with you, to provide service and support, to update you on programs and services. Occasionally we may also use your information to request survey information regarding OCPD programs or services.
Credit card information is submitted on our secure server and used only for payment processing and fraud prevention. Credit card information and sensitive personal data are not used for any other purpose by our financial services providers or OCPD.
Subscription Services: You will not be added to our monthly OCPD newsletter unless you specifically request it. Once on our free subscription list, we will never sell or share our subscriber's email addresses. To opt-out of receiving communications you have previously requested (such as email newsletters) simply send us an email titled "unsubscribe."
Registration is NOT required to enter our website. It is only required if credit is desired at the end of an activity in order for completion certificates to be delivered.
